2012 Summer Update
1) Registration will be up as soon as our field times are confirmed
2) There will be online payment options (you must pay before you are placed on a team). If you can't pay online, then you need to fill out a registration form and make sure you see Darren LeBlanc or Kim Kimball before the season starts with your cash/cheque.
3) Teams will be assigned in a "Hat" style this year with competitive balance as our primary concern. You may request to play with a particular person, but only for a GOOD REASON ("I played with them in the winter and they were fun" is not a good reason)... you must defend your request to play with someone specific.
A) Captains will need to be approved by the executive and other past captains. If you are interested in being a team captain please notify us through email so you can be part of the team building process: league@saintjohnultimate.com
B) There will be a captains meeting before the first game of the season to put teams together.
Outdoor 2012/Spring Clinic Information
When: Thursday 6-8pm at the Upper Arthur Miller Turf Field (Football) in Rothesay, NB
Clinic #3 (Thursday May 17th, 2012)
6:00-6:30 warm-up (and throwing drills)
- use this time to have a quick run around and get some throws in... we'll jump right into throwing drills to work backhands and forehands)
6:30-7:20 strategy and drills - 24 minutes each (2 minutes for water in between)
Offensive strategy / Defensive strategy
7:20-8:00
scrimmage (make sure you bring a dark and a light shirt so we can make even teams)
